Abstract:

A low dusting crystalline 2, 2'−methylenebis[4−(1,1,3,3−tetramethylbutyl)−6−benzotriazolylphenol] I type crystal transformation which exhibits diffraction peaks at diffraction angles (2Ѳ ± 0.1°) of 7.1°, 8.6°, 14.3°, 16.1°, 18.1° and 23.0° in the powder X−ray diffraction analysis with the Cu−K&agr line, a low dusting amorphous 2, 2'−methylenebis[4−(1,1,3,3−tetramethylbutyl)−6−benzotriazolylphenol] II type crystal transformation which exhibits not a clear peak but a halo in the powder X−ray diffraction analysis with the Cu−K&agr line, and a mixture thereof&semi methods for preparing them&semi and an ultraviolet absorvent, an emulsion composition and a polymer material which use one of them.
