Abstract:
A machine vision-based detecting method and system for glass bottle bottom defects. The detecting method comprises: step 1, acquiring a bottle bottom image, locating a bottle bottom area by combining three-point random circle detection with least square circle detection, and dividing the bottle bottom area into three sub-areas: a central circular plane area, an annular plane area and an annular texture area; step 2, performing defect detection on the central circular plane area by a saliency detection-based method and marking defects; step 3, performing defect detection on the annular plane area by a multi-scale filtering-based method and marking defects; step 4, performing defect detection on the annular texture area by a template matching-based method and marking defects; and step 5, integrating the central circular plane area, the annular plane area and the annular texture area marked with defects in steps 2 to 4, to obtain a bottle bottom image marked with all defects. This method has higher bottle bottom defect detection precision and faster execution speed.
