Abstract:
Disclosed are a millimeter-wave dual circularly polarized lens antenna and an electronic device. The antenna comprises: a broadband circular polarization plane feed source array and a dual circular polarization plane lens, wherein in the plane feed source array, broadband circular polarization is realized by using dual-layer stacked patches, and by using a sequentially rotating feed structure, a bandwidth is further expanded and the polarization purity is improved; and in the plane lens, transmission phases of left-handed and right-handed circularly polarized waves are independently regulated and controlled in a wide frequency band by using miniaturized stacked patches and a micro-strip true time delay phase shift structure. By means of the lens antenna of the present invention, a dual circularly polarized highly-oriented beam can be realized, beam pointing of the left-handed circularly polarized wave and beam pointing of the right-handed circularly polarized wave are independently controlled, and transmission-type dual circularly polarized beam forming is also realized, such that negative effects, such as feed source blocking, are overcome, and a good polarization purity and a good beam shape can be obtained. The lens antenna has the characteristics of having a broad band, being portable, having a high integration level and low cost, etc., and has wide application prospects in regards to wireless communication and satellite communication.
