Abstract:

The present invention may extract a machining area of a soft jaw by inputting three-dimensional geometry information for the soft jaw, a workpiece, and a tool and a machining condition of the soft jaw, build a machining program for the soft jaw in the extracted machining area by using a machining template, and machine the soft jaw by applying the machining program to a numerical control device of a machine tool, thereby reducing time for generating the machining program for machining the soft jaw and time for machining the soft jaw. Furthermore, a hassle of an operator, caused by building a soft jaw machining program, may be eliminated and a non-machining time of the machine tool may be reduced as well.
