Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mask-type skin care apparatus using light, and a control method therefor, the apparatus using an application and a camera loaded in a portable mobile communication terminal (smartphone), so as to accurately detect the condition of facial skin, and controlling an operation, light emission time, light output, and the like of a light source having a color suitable for the detected condition of the skin, thereby enabling maximization of a skin care effect, and the mask-type skin care apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a mask main body worn on the facial region of a user; a plurality of light sources mounted on the inner surface of the mask main body so as to emit light; a camera loaded in a portable mobile communication terminal of the user so as to acquire an image of the facial region of the user; a reference kit which is captured together with the image of the facial region of the user when same is captured through the camera, and on which a plurality of colors are shown; a condition-of-skin diagnosis unit for detecting information about the condition of the skin in the facial region of the user through the colors of the reference kit and the image of the facial region of the user, captured by means of the camera; and a light control unit for controlling the operation of the light sources according to the information about the condition of the skin in the facial region, detected through the condition-of-skin diagnosis unit.
