Abstract:
The purpose of present invention is to prevent unintended movements of a manipulator (3) and reduce joint load. This medical manipulator system (1) includes: the manipulator (3) which includes an elongated portion (8), a movable portion (9) that has one or more joints (12, 13, 14), and a drive unit (10) that is disposed on a base end of the elongated portion (8) and drives the movable portion (9); a medical device (6) which includes a channel (7) that is capable of housing at least a part of the elongated portion (8), and the movable portion (9) such that the movable portion (9) is movable in a longitudinal direction; a manipulation input unit (2) which generates an operational instruction for moving the manipulator (3) in the longitudinal direction of the elongated portion (8) between a treatment state in which the movable portion (9) protrudes from an end of the channel (7) and a housed state in which the movable portion (9) is housed inside the channel (7) according to a manipulation instruction that has been input; and a notification unit (39) which is a notification that the manipulator (3) is leaving the treatment state and transitioning to the housed state.
