Abstract:
A meta-imaging method and a meta-imaging system. The meta-imaging system comprises: a micro-lens array, which is placed near an image plane of an optical imaging system, wherein the size of the micro-lens array and a diffraction limit resolution corresponding to the system differ by not more than two orders of magnitude. Periodic mask patterns are plated on a surface of the micro-lens array by using each micro-lens as a period, so as to modulate an imaging light path. The size of the micro-lenses and masks cause aliasing to be generated in a frequency domain during the process of image collection of the meta-imaging system, such that high-frequency image information is modulated to a low-frequency part. A photoelectric sensor such as a CMOS or a CCD is placed near one focal length behind the micro-lens array. By means of a small micro-lens size, mask coding, image plane scanning, etc., in a meta-imaging system, a light field image which is finer and includes more high-frequency information is collected.
