Abstract:
Provided is a crosslinked polymer useful as a thickener capable of preparing a viscous composition and providing sufficiently satisfactory transparency and application elongation. More specifically, provided is a crosslinked polymer that is a (meth)acrylic acid/(meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester crosslinked copolymer obtained by polymerizing a (meth)acrylic acid, a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester having a C18-24 alkyl group, and a compound having two or more ethylenically unsaturated groups, wherein the yield stress in a 0.5 mass% neutralization aqueous solution at 25°C is at least 20 Pa, and the storage modulus (G') in a 0.5 mass% neutralization aqueous solution at 25°C is 100-400 Pa at 0.1 rad/s.
