Abstract:
Provided is a methane producing method which includes: supplying a raw material gas comprising hydrogen gas, oxygen gas, and carbon dioxide gas to a reaction vessel having a catalyst provided thereto, and using heat comprising reaction heat from catalytic combustion of the hydrogen gas to start a methanation reaction; and continuing the methanation reaction.
