Disclosed are a skin disease diagnosis method and a skin disease diagnosis apparatus. The skin disease diagnosis method performed by the skin disease diagnosis apparatus may comprise the steps of: receiving first image data including at least a part of a subject's body for skin disease diagnosis; carrying out data preprocessing on the first image data; inputting the data-preprocessed first image data into a skin area extraction model to obtain second image data from which a skin area is extracted; inputting the second image data into a skin area division model to obtain third image data in which a normal skin area and a lesional skin area are divided from each other; and determining, by using a diagnosis model, a diagnosis result for a skin disease on the basis of the first image data, the second image data, and the third image data.
