Abstract:
This method for assessing fracture in press-formed part is for determining a fracture countermeasure for a press-formed part 21 in which fracturing has occurred. In this method: a test piece 31 is press-formed so as to reproduce a stress state obtained during a press-forming step for a bent section 23, which is a site at which fracturing occurred in the press-formed part 21; it is assessed whether there is any fine fracturing in a stress state reproduction section 33 of the test piece 31 (P1); and if fine fracturing is assessed to have occurred in the stress state reproduction section 33, it is assessed that the fracturing occurred during the press-forming step, whereas if no fine fracturing is assessed to have occurred in the stress state reproduction section 33, it is assessed that the fracturing was caused by spring back following the press-forming (P3).
