Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a method and a control device for managing a router, used to resolve the technical problem in the prior art whereby management efficiency of a router is low, thus increasing the management efficiency of the router. Said method comprises: determining that a router matched to a control device is a first router, wherein the control device runs a first application program and inputs information for controlling the first router by means of an application interface of the first application program; transmitting request connection information to the first router so as to request that a wireless communication connection be established with the first router, wherein after receiving the request connection information, the first router establishes the wireless communication connection with the control device by means of a wireless communication module in the first router; on the basis of the wireless communication connection, obtaining operation status information of the first router by means of the first application program.
