Abstract:
The present invention derives an equivalent circuit model of a multi-terminal capacitor with three or more terminals. Provided is a method for creating an equivalent circuit model of a multi-terminal capacitor in which external electrode terminals of positive polarity and negative polarity are arranged in a staggered manner, the method comprising: a step of measuring an S parameter of the multi-terminal capacitor; a step of deriving an overall impedance of the multi-terminal capacitor on the basis of the measured value of the S parameter; a step of creating an equivalent circuit model of two terminals from the derived overall impedance; a step of deriving an equivalent circuit model of a unit cell from the created equivalent circuit model of two terminals; a step of combining an equivalent circuit model of a parasitic component comprising capacitive and inductive circuit elements with the derived equivalent circuit model of a unit cell to create a topology of a three-dimensional lattice shape; and a step of setting terminals of the multi-terminal capacitor to nodes of the created topology of the three-dimensional lattice.
