Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application is a method for preparing p-xylene. Raw materials containing methanol, naphtha and CO2 are reacted by means of a reactor equipped with a catalyst to generate p-xylene. By adding methanol, the product distribution is adjusted, significantly improving the selectivity of p-xylene. In addition, the component containing benzene and toluene in the aromatic hydrocarbon product is returned to a reaction system and co-fed with the raw materials to generate p-xylene, which realizes cyclic utilization of the raw materials and has extremely high economic benefits. The method is simple in process and high in feasibility, can greatly improve the selectivity and yield of p-xylene, has important application value, and provides a new way for large-scale utilization of CO2.
