Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing latex particles for measuring an anti-streptolysin O antibody, whereby a high sensitivity can be achieved with the use of a small amount of streptolysin O. The method for producing latex particles for measuring an anti-streptolysin O antibody comprises a step for covalently bonding streptolysin O to latex particles, said latex particles containing carboxyl group introduced into the surface thereof at a ratio ranging from 50 to 250 μeq/g, preferably from 90 to 150 μeq/g.
