Title:
METHOD FOR ULTRA-HIGHLY STABLE CONSTANT SPEED CONTROL AND POSITIONING CONTROL OF ROTATION SYSTEM USING ATOMIC FREQUENCY STANDARD DEVICE FOR MECHANICAL CONTROL REFERENCE OSCILLATOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/004110
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A method for using an atomic clock or atomic frequency standard device using rubidium for a reference oscillator for a machine so as to perform constant speed control or positioning control of a rotation system of the machine and perform control system signal processing in analog or digital mode. The method using an atomic clock or an atomic frequency standard device for a reference oscillator for a machine can utilize an excellent frequency stability and frequency accuracy inherent to the atomic clock or the atomic frequency standard device using rubidium, cesium, hydrogen, or mercury. Accordingly, it is possible to realize a digital recording/reproduction system and a digital recording/reproduction device in which generation of jitter is significantly reduced during digital data recording and reproduction using the machine rotation system, synchronization accuracy is significantly improved, and a residual error generating even by using the code error correction technique is minimized, thereby significantly improving the recording/reproduction ability to have a high quality.
