Title:
MONITORING-INHIBITING ERROR MESSAGE SELECTION METHOD AND PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/055590
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In a monitoring-inhibiting error message selection method, a first process transition is specified that corresponds to a process transition of a matter indicating that error messages have been monitored but resolution processing has not been performed. The summation of time consumed for the first process transition is calculated as a decrease prediction value of response time. A second process transition and a third process transition are specified, the second process transition concerning a process transition of a matter indicating that error messages have not been monitored, the third process transition concerning a process transition of a matter indicating that error messages are monitored and resolution processing has been performed. The summation of time consumed for a differential process between the third process transition and the second process transition is calculated as an increase prediction value of the response time. The decrease prediction value and the increase prediction value are compared with each other, and if the decrease prediction value is greater than the increase prediction value, a relevant error message is selected.
