Abstract:
A multiaxial robot power shut-off device comprises: a plurality of motors (M1-M6) that drive each of a plurality of shafts of a multiaxial robot; a plurality of power converters (11) that control the motion of each of the plurality of motors by supplying and controlling power to the plurality of motors; a drive circuit (12) that drives a first semiconductor switching element of each power converter (11) by outputting a drive signal, in accordance with a control signal for controlling motor operation, to the control terminal of the first semiconductor switching element; a shut-off circuit (14a) that is provided in an electrical path (L1) that supplies first operation power to the drive circuit (12); and a shut-off controlling circuit (15) that outputs a shut-off signal to the shut-off circuit. The shut-off circuit (14a) comprises second semiconductor switching elements (Tr1, Tr2) that are interposed in the electrical path to be mutually in series and that shut-off the electrical path by turning off in response to the shut-off signal.
