Abstract:
This non-contact power-transfer system comprises the following: a power-transmission device that has a plurality of primary coils to which AC power is inputted; and a power-reception device that has a secondary coil that can receive AC power from the primary coils without contact and a measurement unit that measures the AC power received by said secondary coil. A power-transmission control unit in the power-transmission device determines which of the primary coils is usable and transmits information regarding the result of said determination to the power-reception device.
