Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a nonhydrocarbon gas separation device which can separate a nonhydrocarbon gas from natural gas that contains heavy hydrocarbons. [Solution] This nonhydrocarbon gas separation device separates a nonhydrocarbon gas from natural gas. In a separation module 2, a natural gas is supplied that contains heavy hydrocarbons, i.e., hydrocarbons having a carbon number of 5 or higher; the natural gas separated from the nonhydrocarbon gas flows out, and the nonhydrocarbon gas separated from the natural gas is discharged. An inorganic membrane 20 made from an inorganic material and housed in the separation module 2 allows the nonhydrocarbon gas contained in the natural gas to permeate towards the discharge side and the natural gas from which the nonhydrocarbon gas has been separated to flow towards the outflow side. A heating unit 3 heats the natural gas supplied to the separation module 2 such that the temperature inside of the separation module 2 is maintained at a temperature higher than the dew point temperature of the heavy hydrocarbons.
