Abstract:
An optical system disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention comprises first to fourth lens groups that are arranged from the object side toward the sensor side along an optical axis and each comprise at least one lens, wherein the first lens group and the fourth lens group have refractive powers opposite to one another, the second lens group and the third lens group have refractive powers opposite to one another, the first and fourth lens groups are fixed, the second and third lens groups are movable along the optical axis direction, and the optical system having the first to fourth lens groups are operated at rates according to changes of at least three modes, according to movements of the second lens group and the third lens group, a highest rate of the rates satisfying the mathematical formula: TTL / EPD_Tele <2.72, where TTL is the distance on the optical axis from the surface of a lens of the first lens group, closest to the object side, to the top surface of an image sensor, and EPD_Tele is an entrance pupil diameter of the optical system when operated at the highest rate.
