Abstract:

A paper sheet stacking device provided with: an advancing section (26) for advancing paper sheets on a sheet-by-sheet basis from the outside into the paper sheet stacking device; a rotating body (10) having a gripping member (16) for gripping a paper sheet advanced by the advancing section (26), the rotating body (10) being adapted to convey the paper sheet in the rotational direction of the rotating body (10) when the rotating body (10) is rotated with the paper sheet gripped by the gripping member (16); and a stacking section (32) in which the paper sheets conveyed by the rotating body (10) are stacked in a layered manner.
