Abstract:
Provided is a highly reliable piezoelectric sounding component. The present invention is provided with: a diaphragm which has a metal plate and a piezoelectric body formed on the metal plate, and which bends and vibrates when a voltage is applied to the piezoelectric body; a case that has a bottom wall, lateral walls which extend from periphery edges of the bottom wall in the thickness direction and which include a first wall, a second wall disposed so as to face the first wall, and a third wall disposed between the first wall and the second wall, and a support part which supports the diaphragm at an inner peripheral part of the lateral walls; two or more terminals that are formed on the first or third wall so as to apply a voltage to the diaphragm; two or more elastic binders that connect the lateral walls and the diaphragm at locations between the diaphragm and the two or more terminals; and two or more electrically conductive binders that are formed on the two or more elastic binders so as to connect the diaphragm and the two or more terminals, wherein the diaphragm is supported by the support part and housed in the case such that a gap formed between the first wall and the diaphragm is configured to be smaller than a gap formed between the second wall and the diaphragm.
