Abstract:
Provided is a planting sheet, which, when used as a base for growing mature seedlings of Racomitrium canescens, requires no soil and enables the growth of the mature seedlings of R. canescens in a stable state even in a severe environment such as on a steep slope or in a strong wind. The planting sheet 1-1 comprises a surface layer part 10 in which mature seedlings 30 of R. canescens are laid and an inner layer part 20 into which the rhizoids 30a of the mature seedlings 30 of R. canescens, said rhizoids 30a extending as the seedlings grow, penetrate downward. The inner layer part 20 has a coarse network structure wherein pores having a pore size equal to or larger than the thickness of the rhizoids 30a are formed so as to allow the rhizoids 30a to enter therethrough.
