Abstract:
In order to quickly and reliably repair punctures using puncture repair fluid, while having a single layer structure for a sound-damping body, this pneumatic tire has a sound-damping body 20 comprising a porous material having open cells, on an inner surface 2S of a tread section 2. In the sound-damping body 20, number N of cells is 30–60/25 mm and, in any cross-section of the sound-damping body 20, the ratio of the total sum Σ Sa of the cross-sectional area Sa of each cell to the area S of the cross-section is 10%–30%.
