Abstract:
Provided is a prepreg that contains a urethane (meth)acrylate (A), an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (B), a polymerization initiator (C), and reinforcement fibers (D), and that is characterized in that the urethane (meth)acrylate (A) is a reaction product of a polyisocyanate (a1) and a polyol (a2) having an ethylenically unsaturated group and an aromatic backbone, and/or a reaction product of the polyisocyanate (a1), a polyol (a3) not having an ethylenically unsaturated group but having an aromatic backbone, and a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate (a4), and the ethylenically unsaturated monomer (B) has a molecular weight of not less than 320, and the prepreg has a weight reduction rate (%) of less than 2 when being heated for 3 minutes at 150°C under the atmospheric pressure. This prepreg has excellent moldability and allows production of a molded article having various physical properties such as excellent flexural strength, and interlayer shear strength, and therefore, can be suitably used for automotive members and the like.
