Abstract:
Provided is a pressure-resistant pipe joint capable of exhibiting excellent pressure resistance and pull-out prevention force without requiring use of fire or use of a dedicated tool in connection of a pipe body to be connected. A pressure-resistant pipe joint 10 comprises: a joint main body 12 which a copper pipe 26 is inserted into and fixed to; a restriction ring 14 provided with a plurality of locking claws that prevent the copper pipe 26 from being pulled out; a guide ring 16 configured to be fitted to and placed in the restriction ring 14 and moved to an inner part of an insertion hole 28 through insertion of the copper pipe 26 such that the copper pipe 26 substitutes the guide ring 16 and is placed in the restriction ring 14; an O-ring 22 which is positioned on the axially outer side of the restriction ring 14 in the insertion hole 28 and which seals a space between the copper pipe 26 and the insertion hole 28; and a pressurizing nut 24 which is threadedly engaged with the joint main body 12 and which pressurizes and compresses the O-ring through the progress of the threaded engagement.
