Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of marine engineering instruments, and more specifically, to a riser vortex-induced vibration response testing device and a method for using same. The riser vortex-induced vibration response testing device comprises a support frame, a first rotation adjustment structure, a steel wire rope, a power mechanism for driving the steel wire rope to perform reciprocating linear motion, a first guide rail disposed on the first rotation adjustment structure, a first adjustment sliding block slidably connected to the first guide rail, and a first pipe joint disposed on the first adjustment sliding block; the second rotation adjustment structure is provided with a second guide rail, a second adjustment sliding block is slidably connected to the second guide rail, and a second pipe joint is provided on the second adjustment sliding block; one end of the steel wire rope is connected to the power mechanism, and the other end is connected to the first pipe joint by means of a sliding structure. The present invention can test and study factors such as top tension, outflow velocity, series-parallel mode, and axial spacing between risers that affect the vortex-induced vibration characteristics of the risers, and can comprehensively simulate the actual working conditions of deep-sea risers.
