Abstract:
This robot device comprises: an arm that holds a probe of an ultrasonic diagnostic device; a force sensor that is provided on the arm; and a storage device and a control device that, on the basis of a signal from the force sensor, assists an operator in manually operating the probe and that, on the basis of instructions provided by the operator, operates the arm so that the probe is automatically operated. The storage device stores, by manual operation, the position and orientation of the probe for each point of a plurality of arbitrary points. The control device interpolates a trajectory between the plurality of points stored in the storage device and operates the arm so that, during the automatic operation, the probe moves along the trajectory and is capable of stopping at a desired position between the plurality of points on the basis of the instructions provided by the operator.
