Abstract:
Disclosed is a rotary compressor. The rotary compressor comprises: a case; a cylinder which is disposed inside the case and has an inner space, and which includes a rolling piston eccentrically pivoting in the inner space, a vane in contact with the rolling piston and dividing the inner space into a suction chamber and a compression chamber, a suction port communicating with the suction chamber, and a discharge port communicating with the compression chamber; a driving device that includes a rotation shaft connected to the rolling piston and a motor for rotating the rotation shaft; and a valve member that is fixed to a side surface of the vane and selectively opens and closes the discharge port as the vane reciprocates back and forth.
