Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a rotation torque generation device that has a simple structure and a long life, and that does not generate noise. [Solution] The rotation torque generation device comprises a guide section (21d) having a shape extending along the convex outer periphery of a distorted circle, and a motive power shaft (22) that rotates coaxially with a rotational center defined in the interior of the distorted circle. A sliding part that passes through the motive power shaft (22) is provided. The rotation torque generation device further comprises arm-length-changing rods (231, 232, 233) that move with side-by-side movement directions thereof being guided to the sliding part. The arm-length-changing rods change arm lengths in a non-drive area and arm lengths in a drive area, and rotate along with the motive power shaft (22), with the rotational trajectories at both ends being guided to the guide section (21d). The difference in moment at both end sides of the arm-length-changing rods in the non-drive area is designated as torque needed for the arm-length-changing rods to rotate.
