Abstract:
Provided is a rubber composition for a tire which exhibits lower rolling resistance and improved wet performance and wear resistance relative to conventional levels. Specifically provided is a rubber composition obtained by blending 30-60 parts by mass of silica, 20-50 parts by mass of carbon black having a surface area of 120-150 m2/g as determined by nitrogen adsorption, and 50-80 parts by mass of an inorganic filler including the silica and the carbon black into 100 parts by mass of a diene rubber that includes 20-50 mass% of a butadiene rubber and 50-80 mass% of a terminal-modified styrene-butadiene rubber having a vinyl unit content of 40 mass% or greater, said rubber composition being characterized by comprising a total of 10-30 parts by mass of oil constituents.
