Abstract:

Provided is a rubber composition which can achieve a good balance between low-loss properties and wear resistance. Provided is a tire which can achieve a good balance between low-loss properties and wear resistance. The rubber composition includes a rubber component including at least a polymer component P1 and a polymer component P2, and a filler including at least silica, and is characterized in that: the glass transition temperature (Tg1) of polymer component P1 and the glass transition temperature (Tg2) of polymer component P2 satisfy the relationship 0 < |Tg1 - Tg2| ≤ 20; polymer components P1 and P2 are incompatible with each other on the sub-micron order; and 80% or more of the total amount of the filler is present in the phase of polymer component P2. The tire is characterized in that the rubber composition is used for a tread member thereof.
