Abstract:
A single-phase induction motor includes a pair of coils including a main coil and an auxiliary coil (2) that are lap-wound into a set, there being formed in the single-phase induction motor a lap-wound coil (11) provided with a plurality of sets of main coils and auxiliary coils (2). One pole (12) in the lap-wound coil (11) comprises a plurality of sets of main coils or auxiliary coils (2). In the pole (12), the distance between one end of the main coil to the other end differ for each of the main coils.
