Abstract:
Provided is a slide fastener wherein it is possible to easily separate, with a simple configuration, one fastener stringer from a slider. A slide fastener (10) is provided with a pair of fastener stringers (11L, 11R) disposed with a fastener element row (30) having a plurality of fastener elements (31) along the opposing side edges (20a) on a pair of fastener tapes (20), and a slider (40) attached in a slidable manner along the fastener element row (30) and for meshing and separating the fastener elements (31), wherein one of the fastener stringers (11L) separates from the slider (40) when a lateral pulling force pulling outward in the width direction is applied to the fastener stringers (11L, 11R). The aforementioned slide fastener (10) is characterized in that a notched section (51a, 52a) is formed on the upper wing plate (51) and the lower wing plate (52) of the slider (40) on a portion that is more towards the outside than one of the side surfaces (53a) of a guiding column (53) in the width direction.
