Abstract:
The present invention provides a solid-state battery that, even when there is no positive electrode current collector layer for improving capacity density (energy density, for example), adequately prevents any decrease in theoretical capacity ratio calculated from an active material content, and prevents any decrease in capacity characteristics and load characteristics more adequately than in a case where no electrically conductive material is contained. The present invention pertains to a solid-state battery having: a solid-state battery laminate 100 comprising, along the lamination direction, at least one battery constituent unit provided with a positive electrode layer 10A, a negative electrode layer 10B, and a solid electrolyte layer 20 interposed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer; and a positive electrode terminal 40A and a negative electrode terminal 40B each provided on the side surface facing the solid-state battery laminate, wherein, in the solid-state battery, the positive electrode layer 10A has an end surface current collection structure that performs current collection at an end surface 10A1 of the positive electrode layer, and, while in contact with a positive electrode current collecting unit 11 at the end surface 10A1 of the positive electrode layer, is electrically connected with the positive electrode terminal 40A via the positive electrode current collecting unit 11, the positive electrode layer 10A also containing an electrically conductive carbon material.
