Abstract:
A storage device (10) is provided with: a biometric sensor (16) for detecting biometric information relating to a user; an image acquiring unit (32) for acquiring, from an image capturing unit, an image in which an area surrounding the user is imaged; an image processing unit (40) for separating, from within the image of the area surrounding the user, a gaze direction image relating to an image in the gaze direction of the user, and a surrounding area image relating to an image other than the gaze direction image; an encrypting unit (48) for generating an encryption key for encrypting the gaze direction image on the basis of the biometric information relating to the user, and using the encryption key to encrypt the gaze direction image; and a storage control unit (50) for storing the gaze direction image encrypted by the encrypting unit (48) in a storage unit (24).
