Abstract:
[Problem] To reliably and easily unload and load a crane onto a ceiling track. [Solution] A storage system SYS comprises: a ceiling stocker 100 that has a first ceiling track 20, shelving 10 comprising a vertical multilayer storage unit 11, and a crane 40 to travel along the ceiling track 20 and transfer articles 2 between multilayer storage units 11; and a ceiling transport vehicle system that has a second ceiling track 30 provided lower than the bottom edge of the ceiling stocker 100, and a ceiling transport vehicle 50 to travel along the second ceiling track 30 and transfer articles 2 to a loading port LP. The first ceiling track 20 has a lifting track 25 that can lower while supporting a crane 40 that has been stopped in a section separated from the second ceiling track 30 in a planar view.
