Abstract:
Provided are genes having a key effect on isopentenyl chain cyclization and post-translational modification in biosynthesis of sesquiterpene polyketone compounds, and respectively named as myrD, myrF, myrJ, and myrK, and polypeptides encoded by the genes. Also provided is a use of the polypeptides in biosynthesis of the sesquiterpene polyketone compounds.
