Title:
SYSTEM FOR PREDICTING CONTRACTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/048984
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This system for prediction contraction collects and saves, as data for constructing an adaptive model, first data indicating the occurrence and location of contraction in an object rolling pass, and second data including an attribute relating to a rolled stock and information relating to a preceding rolling pass when the rolled stock is rolled in a preceding rolling pass that precedes the object rolling pass in a rolling sequence. In the system for predicting contraction, an adaptive model is constructed using saved adaptive-model construction data, and an adaptation-completed model for which construction is completed is saved. In the system for predicting contraction, prediction data are collected, the prediction data including an attribute relating to the rolled stock as a prediction object and information relating to a preceding rolling pass when the rolled stock is rolled in a preceding rolling pass that precedes the object rolling pass in the rolling sequence. In the system for predicting contraction, the prediction data are inputted to the adaptation-completed model, and the occurrence and location of contraction in the object rolling pass are fully or partially predicted before the rolled stock as the prediction object reaches the object rolling pass.
