Abstract:
A terminal block (51) comprises: a conductive rod terminal (3); a contact fitting (41) electrically connected to a conductor pattern of a substrate (1); a base (2) which is mounted to the substrate (1), is provided with a protective part (21) covering the contact fitting (41), and has, formed in the protective part (21), a hole (25) through which the rod terminal (3) passes; and a clamp structure (4) provided with a clamp spring (42) for pressing the rod terminal (3) against the contact fitting (41) to clamp the rod terminal (3). The rod terminal (3) is inserted into the hole (25) and thereby sandwiches round terminals (91, 92) of wires (81, 82) to be connected between the protective part (21) and the rod terminal (3), and in said state, the rod terminal (3) is pressed against the contact fitting (41) by the clamp spring (42), and the wires (81, 82) and the contact fitting (41) are electrically connected.
