Abstract:
A female terminal fitting 1 comprises: a rectangular tube 11 that is provided with a pair of side wall sections (first side wall section 14 and second side wall section 15) that are disposed so as to face each other, and a bottom wall section 12 and a top wall section 13 that connect the pair of side wall sections 14, 15 to each other; and a first diagonally wound coil spring 20A and a second diagonally wound coil spring 20B that are disposed inside the rectangular tube 11. The first diagonally wound coil spring 20A is disposed along the bottom wall section 12, is electrically connected to the rectangular tube 11, and is able to elastically contact a tab part T. The second diagonally wound coil spring 20B is disposed along the top wall section 13, is electrically connected to the top wall section 13, and is able to elastically contact the tab part T. The first side wall section 14 has an insertion slit 16 and the second side wall section 15 has a removal slit 17.
