Abstract:
On the basis of an image G21, a color patch generation unit 32 performs configuration processing for configuring a patch concentration so as to minimize the degree of reduction in quality of the printing color patch, which is a color patch Cp printed on paper 8. This thermal printer 100 performs printing processing for printing the color patch Cp having the configured patch concentration, and the image G21 on the paper 8. A color sensor Sn3 measures the color of the printed color patch printed on the paper 8 with the printing processing. A printing data processing unit 5 performs correction processing for correcting another image G21 on the basis of a measured correction amount based on the color of the printed color patch.
