Abstract:
A display unit 110 comprises a display panel 112 and a panel driver 300. A control unit 130 is provided with a graphic controller 132 and a timing controller IC 200. The graphic controller 132 generates multiple pieces of individual image data IMG to be displayed on multiple display units 110, and generates one piece of composite image data IMGc obtained by combining the multiple pieces of individual image data. The timing controller IC 200 receives the composite image data IMGc from the graphic controller 132, and divides the composite image data into multiple pieces of individual image data IMG1-IMG3. The timing controller IC 200 generates a control signal CNTi for controlling the panel driver 300_i of each display unit 110_i, and transmits the control signal CNTi corresponding to the corresponding individual image data IMGi.
