Abstract:
This toner has at least a binding resin. The binding resin includes at least a polyester resin. The contained amount of the polyester resin is not less than 2.5 mass% with respect to the total mass of the toner. In a printed matter obtained by fixing, on a PET-coated paper, the toner in a printing condition of a printing temperature of 175°C, a printing speed of 16 ppm, and a printing density of 0.8 mg/cm2, if A represents the total length at which the polyester resin and the PET-coated paper are in contact with each other in a cross section of the printed matter and B represents the total length at which the toner and the PET-coated paper are in contact with each other, a ratio A/B of A and B satisfies formula (1). (1): 0.05≤ A/B ≤0.55
