Abstract:
To improve yield during manufacturing of a torque sensor, a torque sensor 10 comprises: a detection coil 40 that generates a magnetic field; a yoke 42 that holds the detection coil 40; and a sensor sleeve 32 that is disposed covering an input shaft 82a in a position on the inside of the detection coil 40 and that is attached to an output shaft 82b linked to the input shaft 82a via a torsion bar 82c. A plurality of protrusions 31a, which protrude to the outside in a radial direction, are arranged to be aligned in a circumferential direction of the input shaft 82a, in a section of the input shaft 82a located on the inside of the sensor sleeve 32. The sensor sleeve 32 has a plurality of apertures 33 aligned in a circumferential direction of the sensor sleeve 32. The yoke 42 has a bottom section 42f covering the detection coil 40 from the side in an axial center direction, and a wall section 42c covering the detection coil 40 from the outside in the radial direction. A groove section 42g for which a thickness direction of the yoke 42 is a depth direction is disposed at a boundary between the bottom section 42f and the wall section 42c.
