Abstract:
This transformer protection relay device of an embodiment has an acquisition unit and an arithmetic unit. The arithmetic unit: calculates at least the differential current of the phase current on a primary side of a transformer and the phase current of a secondary side of the transformer from an electricity amount pertaining to an electric power amount of the transformer acquired by an acquisition unit, the calculation being based on information relating to a prescribed winding configuration; determines the operating status of a current differential relay of the transformer; calculates the quantity of the operating phase by extracting the operating phases for which the current differential relay operates reliably, on the basis of the operating phase information of the operated current differential relay, and the differential current maximum phase information relating to the phase for which the value of the calculated differential current exceeds a prescribed value; and determines the accident phase of a system accident relating to the transformer, on the basis of at least the quantity of the operating phases, the phase current maximum phase information relating to the phase for which the current value of each phase of each winding of the transformer exceeds a prescribed value, and information on the connection classification of the winding.
