Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for performing brazing in air pressure and inert gas atmosphere without coating a flux in an aluminum heat exchanger.SOLUTION: A brazing material layer of Al-Si based alloy is cladded on a surface of at least one of two members which are joined each other. Then, 0.3-2.5 mass% of Mg is included in a surface of an aluminum alloy of the other member, therefore brazing is possible without coating a flux to the surfaces of the respective members.
