Abstract:
To provide vibration control/vibration isolation rubber which has low hardness, has high tanδ (loss coefficient) in a wide temperature region and excellent attenuation properties, suppresses various vibrations, and is suitably usable for an automobile, a house, industrial equipment, and electric equipment, and a composition for the vibration control/vibration isolation rubber which enables manufacture of the vibration control/vibration isolation rubber.SOLUTION: A composition for vibration control/vibration isolation rubber is provided, including an ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated polyene copolymer (A) having a structural unit (a1) derived from ethylene, a structural unit (a2) derived from α-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, and a structural unit (a3) derived from nonconjugated polyene, and a terpene phenol resin (B) having a softening point of 100°C or lower, wherein the content of the terpene phenol resin (B) is 1-15 phr.SELECTED DRAWING: None
