Abstract:
To provide a surge suppression circuit, etc., which can suppress surge voltage without using a snubber circuit.SOLUTION: There is provided a surge suppression circuit that suppresses surge voltage in a pulse generation circuit, comprising a capacitor, a transistor electrically connected to the capacitor, a diode connected in parallel and in the reverse direction to the transistor, a diode current detection unit that detects the diode current flowing in the diode, and a transistor control unit that controls the transistor. The transistor control unit turns off the transistor during the diode current time period, a time period when it is known in advance that the diode current detection unit is detecting the diode current.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
